Business and Talent development manager

To reinforce the commercial team, The Reference On-Site is looking for an experienced business developer with match-making skills to expand its business.

Job description

Core tasks/responsibilities

  • With The Reference On-Site, we send out digital professionals to our customers who are in need of a temporary scale-up of their digital team. In addition to our permanent team of On-Site consultants, we are in touch with a large network of seasoned and screened freelance consultants. We are particularly strong in delivering digital marketing and data experts and leading profiles such as project managers, product owners and digital managers  
  • As a business developer you identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on prospects and their business and organization
  • You develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients on the one hand and a network of consultants on the other hand
  • You help your customers shape their digital organization and build digital teams  
  • You negotiate and close deals
  • You recruit digital talent and follow up on a diverse team of about 20 consultants
  • You work in close co-operation with your colleague account manager. You report to  the Consultancy Director

Profile

Skills/experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a digital and/or a consultancy staffing environment. Experience in HR and recruitment and selection is a plus
  • You are a people person. You understand the art of communication and you are a seasoned negotiator who loves to open doors
  • You have a degree level qualification or equivalent experience
  • While you are sales-focused, you are very empathic and you create the perfect match between consultants and organizations
  • You are interested in digital marketing and new technologies
  • You have strong organizational skills
  • You are an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing
  • You are Dutch speaking and you speak English fluently. If you are also proficient in French, that's a big asset
