- As a Concept Creative at The Reference you are responsible for coming up with- and supervising creative concepts for branding, websites and marketing campaigns.

- You know your way around the digital landscape. Through your experience, you know how to answer a customer's question with a compelling story, where strategy, concept and execution come together as you will be an integral part of our pitch process.

- You are also not afraid to get your hands dirty, and dust off your design skills if it comes down to it.

- You are able to translate your pitched concepts into briefings for our multidisciplinary team of creative designers, marketing consultants and developers. Whether it is through sketches, rough drafts, or a five-page essay, the most important thing is that your creative ideas can be made tangible.

- Furthermore, you are also responsible for overseeing the art direction within the context of our clients, working closely together with our Creative Director.

- You will oversee creation - with guidance of the Creative Director - of graphic and digital design, story building from concept to execution. You will be hands on, which means designing as well as directing other work with creative/strategic feedback.

- You will be client-facing, presenting pitches, and represent The Reference. 

- You will visualize, conceptualize, and design brandings, websites and marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms together with a multidisciplinary team.





- You are a creative problem solver.
- Creating and presenting pitches are in your nature.
- About three years of experience working in the creative industry (Digital agency experience is recommended).
- You have a working knowledge of multiple creative disciplines and possess an advanced understanding of all stages of the design processes for digital. Print is a nice to have.
- You have a working knowledge of web development processes and digital marketing.
- You have experience leading creative conceptualization process, pinpointing visual solutions on tight deadlines, and juggling dozens of deliverables and tasks simultaneously.
- You are able to deliver and accept feedback and translate it into creative output.
- You have a strong attention to detail.
- You are a team player; you lead by example designing and creating work while paving the professional way for the team.
- Desirable, but not required: expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator; you also know your way around Figma. (or are willing to learn.)
