DP World Antwerp
Digital as a driver for new services
Thorough user research enabled us to map the customer journeys of the DP World stakeholders. Together, we decided on which functionalities a new mobile application and the updated E-World intranet platform should feature.
After setting up a digital backbone, based on headless Umbraco, we designed and developed the Route 1700 application for Android and iOS. In a later phase, we redrew and developed the E-World platform. This tool is widely used by transport planners.
Additionally, went through an innovation track, introducing and testing new features like NFC, geo-IP, AI and voice-over by means of a proof of concept.
This project resulted in new paid services for DP World Antwerp
Premium services for a better visit
Through the Route 1700 app, we created new premium (paid) services for trucker to move up their appointment or speed-up the delivery or loading process.
The application was awarded with various awards for its innovations in the transport sector and its user experience.
The services that made this happen
Through digital, we helped DP World Antwerp develop new paid services.
We mapped out a digital backbone with headless Umbraco as the CMS to push content to a variety of digital interfaces.
We set up a technology stack revolving around headless Umbraco, which is coupled with internal systems already in use by DP World Antwerp.
We built a mobile application and an intranet, to be used by truckers and dispatchers.
