Job

  • The Reference is part of EPAM. As a People Operations Specialist you will work in an international EPAM People Operations team, but you will be locally located in Ghent, Belgium. You will also be the point of contact for all employees and managers there. 
  • Focus on various soft HR topics, including onboarding, offboarding, wellbeing, and learning & development. You will also support the team with hard HR tasks when needed.
  • Cultivate a positive relationship with all staff members, fostering active engagement across the board.
  • Assist new joiners, providing crucial support and counselling to facilitate smooth integration into the team.
  • Collaborate with various departments including global mobility, talent & acquisition, office management and IT to streamline people management and enhance employee experiences.
  • Take responsibility for creating and updating regular and ad-hoc HR reports and presentations.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of events, while also spearheading employer branding, wellness, ESG and CSR initiatives.
  • Participate in merger & acquisition projects, ensuring seamless post-merger integrations.
  • Seek opportunities to improve processes and proactively find solutions during challenges to maintain operational efficiency.

Profile

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in human resources with 1-2 years of HR experience in the technology sector or a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of employment rules, regulations and Labor law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Demonstrated passion for people's development and happiness and a proven track record in fostering positive team environments.
  • Proactive and positive mindset, with the capability to work independently.
  • Resilient and agile, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage pressure efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing effective solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse, international teams and build enduring relationships.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning, improvement and adapting best practices.
  • A consultative approach, highlighting the ability to engage people and focus on solution-oriented approaches.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French would also be an additional advantage.
