As the days are getting colder and darker and the year is reaching its last month, we know that it's that wonderful time of the year again: Drupal Camp Belgium. As this is a homegame, we try to attend this event with as much people from our team as possible. Also this year we had once again the honor to have two speakers during this Drupal event. We are very happy to look back to this successful event in our recap.
As the Drupal Association let us down in organizing a DrupalCon in Europe for the year 2018, a bunch of volunteers from the European community put their hands together. They succeeded in organizing a Drupal Europe event with over more than 1000 visitors. Well done! Thanks to those people I was able to attend such a nice Drupal event, close to my home. This is my first blog post since I joined The Reference about two months ago. My objective was clear: We need to standardise our workflows and reuse best practices within our Drupal team so that we can be more efficient. As I'm an Open Source Software Evangelist, I'm happy to share this information with you. In this article I would like to share with you how we're planning to achieve this in an agile way of working.
The 8th and 9th of September we, Frederik Van Hooghten and Nick Daelemans, represented The Reference at DrupalCamp 2017 in Antwerp, together with Steven De Boeck and Levi Govaerts. Two very interesting days that will definitely stick with us.
