The Reference looks back at a successful summer

Business did not stop at The Reference during the summer months. The full-service digital agency, with offices in Ghent, Antwerp and New York, has announced that its growth strategy is bearing fruit and has resulted in 8 new members of staff and 13 new projects. Furthermore, they confirmed their Platinum Partnership with the annual conference ‘More Than Digital Day 2017’.

New projects

The Reference can proudly announce that it has welcomed a number of new clients in the past three months. Some recent examples are: Vivaldis Interim, Delen Private Bank, Partena Ziekenfonds, Bloovi Me and ING Belgium. They can now add a new website, mobile application and chatbot integration, among other projects, to their abundant portfolio.

Moreover, there are a number of digital projects in the pipeline for existing clients, such as for OZ (Onafhankelijk Ziekenfonds), Dela, Carglass, EDF Luminus, Auping and Samsonite.

New staff

The Reference also welcomed 8 new members of staff in order to meet the growing demand in digital services. The new recruits join the existing team at The Reference that currently consists of 140 full-time staff. This makes The Reference the fifth largest agency in Belgium according to Digimedia’s Top 100. And in October, an additional 12 new “Reffers” will be starting work to help the agency achieve its ambitious plans.

The Reference continues to invest heavily in new people, partnerships and collaborations. The agency opened an office in New York last year so they can better manage the demand from American clients such as Ansell and Kodak Alaris. This also gives them the chance to generate new business opportunities and business. Today, the US counts for over 10% of the company’s turnover.

The Reference is once again the Platinum Partner of the annual conference More Than Digital Day 2017, which took place on 5 October in DOCK3 – Antwerp. A day filled with exciting digital cases, hot business topics and networking opportunities with peers who share the same passion.
So, the Reference is satisfied with the summer months and is planning on continuing the success it has achieved.
