The Reference wins three prizes at the Digital Marketing Awards

Ghent, 18 November 2016 - The Reference walked away from the Digital Marketing Awards with no fewer than three prizes for its digital projects. The Reference team received two Gold Awards for the Bombardier and IFDB customer cases, as well as a Silver Award for Markroshop.be.

The annual Digital Marketing Awards gala, organised by Bloovi, is the biggest award event recognising Belgian excellence on the internet. They present awards to outstanding teams, agencies, tools and the best online campaigns of the year. The focus is mainly on the results achieved by the campaigns. An area in which The Reference has stood out since the very beginning.

And the winner is...

Best Performing Campaign for the Automotive scene – GOLD for Bombardier Recreational Products
The aim of the campaign for Can-Am Spyder, a product somewhere between a motorbike and a car, was to generate online leads for offline sales at different Can-Am distributors’ open days in France. Various benchmarks were set for obtaining leads and the cost per lead. By combining various advertising channels with segmenting on the basis of target groups, The Reference succeeded in reaching the target group better and easily achieving the objectives.

Best Performing B2B campaign Award – GOLD for The Institute for Business Development
IFDB offers more than 400 management courses to give your career a boost. The Reference combined a number of smart digital marketing tactics with a fresh, creative and new concept to generate the highest number of registrations in years. Mission accomplished.

Best Performing Campaign for the Retail / Ecommerce scene – Silver for Makroshop.be
Achieving Makroshop.be’s ambitious objectives was not an easy task. Nevertheless, The Reference more than met the targets thanks to:

  • a strong basis in paying and non-paying acquisition channels;
  • optimisation of the user experience;
  • a broad approach to the complete e-commerce picture.
