The brand needed to update its marketing capabilities from a nearly decade old process and digital platform. As a long-time partner, The Reference, working closely with Dealertrack’s marketing team, created a plan to modernize their marketing strategy.
Previously, user data was scattered across systems. Harnessing all the user data to personalize the user experience was the main objective. Additionally, the website was not responsive, failing to meet user expectations.
The data was integrated through a series of APIs and services. The integrated data provides flexibility in how a customer is viewed and what information is available. It forms the basis for all personalization done throughout the website.
The website received an updated responsive design that enabled areas for personalization. This personalization carries from the website, through the login page, to within the products. All the personalized content is delivered through a single system.
