The media landscape has been quite different for some time now. Readers consume content in a different way. Publishing and selling print magazines is no longer enough to stay profitable in our society, full of digital natives. As to how things actually should be done, there is however no easy answer — and it is certainly not something you can decide overnight. Produpress has done what every mature publisher should do: instead of letting the world pass it by, it has questioned, adapted and adjusted its business model. In 2016, The Reference created an original website for Jules Destrooper which paid tribute to the company's heritage and authenticity. It went down so well that Jules Destrooper also entrusted us with the new direction for their social communication last year. While looking for unique content, we came across the story of the Lukke. This led to the #goodLukkcookies, the recurring theme throughout their social campaigns.


SKYN®, the highly innovative non-latex condom brand from LifeStyles Healthcare, has been collaborating with The Reference to migrate its existing website to the future proof content management system Umbraco.

Kodak Alaris

Kodak Alaris Information Management has been collaborating intensely with The Reference to map out KA-IM’s own digital transformation in the form of a new digital strategy to support the company’s repositioning. The Reference took on the challenge to help drive this transformative process and create a fully renewed global website on the powerful Sitecore Experience Platform that reflects as well as activate Kodak Alaris Information Management’s transformed identity. 


Through the lens of predictive medicine, Medicrea leads the design, integrated manufacture, and distribution of 30+ FDA approved spinal implant technologies that have been utilized in over 150,000 spinal surgeries to date. The Reference was chosen to create a mobile application for surgeons to interact directly with their staff. The brand and design was completely revamped to provide a more modern user experience.


The Adecco Group is the world’s leading HR solutions partner. Adecco provide's more than 700,000 people with permanent and flexible employment every day. Adecco needed to reduce the time to bring new brand websites in different countries to market. The Reference created a solution where branded websites can be created from a common source. The candidate and recruiter portal was streamlined to use shared technology.


Dealertrack is the leading provider of integrated dealership technologies. From best-in-class Sales and F&I software that improves the customer experience to a Dealer Management System that boosts employee productivity, Dealertrack is committed to the growth and success of your business. As a long term partner The Reference has continued to help Dealertrack with their digital marketing initiatives. The projects range from analytics to web solutions.


The MyLuminus app provides Luminus customers with a fully-fledged energy assistant, allowing them to manage their daily energy consumption from A to Z. Various dashboards give them an immediate overview of their usage for all their electricity and gas meters. Some readings come from Luminus, while others are entered manually. In the future, it will be possible to add smart meters too. Customers can also adjust their prepayments based on their energy consumption, which allows them to optimise their annual adjustment bill at any time and avoid unpleasant surprises when the bill comes.

SmartWithFood (SWF) promotes a balanced diet and provides custom advice while you shop. As part of the Colruyt Group, this start-up soon decided to join forces with The Reference. We helped them develop their mobile app – from concept and wireframes to Android and iOS development.


Carglass selected full-service digital agency The Reference as its implementation partner because of its extensive knowledge of the Sitecore solution. With the new website, Carglass has also exceeded its customers' expectations online.

Jules Destrooper

The Reference Antwerp developed a brand new website for Biscuterie Jules Destrooper. The result is astonishing and the whole team is, quite rightfully, extremely proud of it. It all started with... a cookie. Not only did it inspire the web design, but also the user experience. Design is Dead/The Reference took care of the whole package: from photography to design to development. 


Anyone who appreciates a perfect night's sleep should be familiar with Auping. When it comes to bedding and matresses, Auping is the cream of the crop, resulting in multiple stores in Europe and a strong position in the global market. For years, Auping has been a trend-setting and leading brand in the Benelux.


Melexis, the stock market-listed global player in the semi-conductor and sensors industry, realised in mid-2015 that its communication with the outside world was no longer in line with what the company stands for. The company worked with The Reference on a fundamental rebranding exercise and a complete rethink of its online presence.


We sure love an adventure. So when Puratos - a Belgian family company with a worldwide reputation as expert in bakery, patisserie and chocolate - asked us to go on a quest, we didn't think twice. A few months later we launched 'The Quest for Sourdough', an extensive worldwide and participative virtual library about sourdough.

Ann Demeulemeester

When bvba32 asked The Reference Antwerp whether we could build a new website for one of the "Antwerp Six"... Well, they didn't have to ask us twice. The bvba32 label holds no less than two high-end fashion brands: Ann Demeulemeester and Haider Ackermann. We were charged with the mission to develop a completely new website for both brands.
Not only did we think of it as quite the honor, but it also proved to be an interesting project. The key challenge was to fittingly translate the expressive worlds of Ann Demeulemeester and Haider Ackermann to an online world. It goes without saying that all of this should be paired with an optimized user experience.


Concertgebouw Brugge

Youth culture encourages nurturing pure passion and showing off one's mad skills. So we translated this trend in a playful and creative manner for Concertgebouw Brugge, with an educational campaign aimed at young people: Acoustic Power.


Digital becomes a more important service channel for consumers day after day. This is no different for the clients of insurance suppliers. DELA implemented digital in their business in 2010 as an important channel and part of their mission: provide anyone with the funeral they deserve and make sure that the relatives and friends that are left behind get the help and advice they need at that particularly difficult moment.


Because of digitalization and the fast changing customer needs, a lot of different sectors slide closer together. Digital Transformation is the integration of digital into existing business processes and services.
